I'm simply sold on the principals, the management and their ability to execute. To place some context around the amount, anticipating that they will do approximately 15 or so independent transactions, my average exposure to any one property will be just under $5,000. Considering the alternative of deploying those funds on my own with multiple sponsors and given the confidence I have placed in them, this made the most sense for me. I also like Origin's niche on deal size which as they state are larger than most individual investors can afford but too small to entice the large institutional money. This gives me a nice spread of risk and mix above any other deals that I would otherwise invest through RealCrowd, CrowdStreet, Equity Multiple, etc.
