They seem to be good at their niche, only called 50% of committed capital after a year in the fund -was hoping to have it all working by now. But I guess patience is a virtue and I'd rather them not be chasing deals for the sake of investing, particularly at this stage in the cycle. Communication is pretty good but not always responsive to emails. Just had an annual webinar which was helpful. I think some of the fees are based on total committed capital, not invested capital but I think that may be the norm as they are working to find new deals in which to invest.

agree with other review incl SLOW to call capital in their 1st fund. I signed paperwork about 2 years ago and as of Jan '17 only about 50% capital called. It's good they only call capital when they find deals that meet their criteria but also kind of frustrating that funding is drawn out longer than anticipated, i.e. uncalled funds not earning any return and investor never knows when he/she will receive a capital call.
