Currently in another project direct, weekly construction updates and monthly reports - very thorough and detailed communications (tactical, not strategic). Has made 2 small capital calls since. Responsive. Have not seen returns yet but expected because this is a complex construction project.

I have one current real estate investment with UIP in which I have invested in a joint venture with JP Morgan. The fact that JP Morgan would pick UIP to work with for its high net worth clients speaks volumes. I also invested in a UIP project through the Fundrise platform. That project was completed successfully and efficiently. Communication from UIP has been excellent, including weekly construction updates at times. When I've had questions, I've found UIP responsive with answers. UIP does not typically charge asset management fees. Instead there are upfront acquisition fees, property management fees, construction management fees, and profit sharing through a promote and hurdle.
